Hi,

I found a Robert and Sophie in the 1870 and 1880 census. There was not a Clarence listed as a son in either census.

In 1870, Robert age 33 with wife Sopha age 19 is in Nelson County. Listed is one Daughter named Georgia and one son named Silas. In this census, his last name is spelled Morse.

In 1880, Robert is 45 and Sophie is 40. The children are Georgia age 10, Robert age 8, Samuel? age 6, Andrew age 4 and Archie age 2.
Do you know if Clarence had a middle name, or maybe Clarence was his middle name?

There is also a Lewis and Harriet Moss listed next door to Robert in both census. In 1880, Lewis is listed 70 years old and Harriet is listed as 65, so they may be the parents of Robert.
