I found William and Martha in the 1870 census of Powhaton County, Va.
Their last name is spelled Randal

Randal, Wm age 70 farmer
Randal, Martha age 60 keeping house
Randal, Ella age 40 none
Randal, Manfield age 25 wood chopper
Randal, Alexander age 15 Farm Laborer
Randal, Lora age 17 none
Randal, Frederick age 14 Attending School
Randal, Victoria age 8 at home (All born Va.)

There a Scott family living with them as well>> Beverly Scott(male) age 40 and children John, Anna, Robert and Beverly Jr.

There is a Dandridge Randal age 18, a few houses away living with a Anderson Branton? age 60.

There is also a Richmond Jasper age 21, Morris Jasper age 35 and wife Lucinda Jasper age 35 living near by. Next door to William and Martha is Primus Jasper, age 25, Harry Jasper age 18 and James Jasper age 30.
