Wonderful news!! We have contacted a relative who we have located thought again speaking to someone at the Nicholas Chapel. He would be my fathers cousin, so it was very exciting. He is currently contacting Willie's family (yes it was the correct person that you found the details on). Apparetntly Willie did have other children and that's who this man is contacting regarding getting in contact with us. So fingers crossed that they are willing to speak to us, we can't wait to hear more about them and their family.

We have found out that some of Willie bothers and sisters names were Caroline, Robert, Rosevalt (?? don't know if that's how it's spelt) and Ida. And the house at 53 Kennedy Street, Charleston was owned by their father William Brown Snr.

I will keep you updated with our progress. Do you have direct email addresses or should I just update this listing. This is the first time I have used on of these.
