I am also researching Dickson/Dickerson line. My pick up starts with Charles Dixon in 1870 census born in Ala but now in Texas. the spelling changes to Dickson and finally to Dickerson. Do you by any chance have anyone migrating to Texas. I am also at a loss for my Charlies parents. He married an Elizabeth Ware,who was born in KY.
