Hi Selma, thanks for responding and checking for me. I found my ggg grandparents John and Minerva Napier on the 1870 census. Both of them are listed has having been born abt. 1817. They are living in a household with five of their six children: Lucy Napier (abt. 1839), Joseph Napier( abt. 1850), Walter Napier (abt 1859), Thomas Napier also( abt 1859), and my gg grandmother Rachel Napier( abt 1860). Next door to them was their son Philip Napier( abt. 1841)and his family. By the 1880 census there name is spelled Napper
