No we really don't have to much infomation. I will look into getting a death certificate (thought that would be a good place to start).

A few years ago when we were researching I did find out that the house that Sadie owned at 53 Kennedy Street Charleston was donated to the Chruch next door when she died. Think this was an AME Church, which still exists. So I am guessing that she was not married or had a family.

We are not certain that his fathers' name was William but are fairly positive - guess the Death Certificate should confirm this.

My Grandmother and him were not married - they were together until his ship departed Australia. My father was born on September, 1943. So he may have even married when he return to the US and had more children. How fantasitc would that be to meet cousins that we have never seen before. Who knows they may not even be aware of him having another child, let alone be related to Aussies.
