I am searching for Rush M. MORAN in 1880.

Rush was born in 1828 in Dearborn County, IN. He served during the CW and, according to his pension file, died in Wilmington, Illinois on 20 September 1893.

From his file, I learned that after his 19 October 1865 discharge, he lived in Kankakee, Kankakee County, Illinois and hadn't (per him) moved. I have not been able to locate him in 1880 and would like to know if I'm just missing him. I know that during this enumeration (1880), his father and three of his siblings were living in Iroquois County, Illinois. I've not been successful in locating a death certificate either.

I've located the family in earlier census years as well. I am curious to know where Rush was in 1880. I've looked under MORAN, MORIN, MORON and MORAND. If anyone knows of other variations I should try, please pass them along. Also, in his military record, he signed his name Rush Mors MORAN. I've tried searching under Mors also.
