Taylor family - border crossing info

It's been a while since I posted a question, but I'm back involved with the family research. I'm looking for infomation on border crossings between Canada and the USA. It is my understanding that my GGgrandfather Shed Taylor Feb 14, 1863 born in Kentucky and his wife Nannie(Nancy) Scott Taylor born in July of 1867-68 also in Kentucky. They travelled to Canada in March of 1910 crossing in Emerson, North Dakota. I believed they crossed with most of their 13 children. Judge born Dec 8, 1884 and his wife Mattie Burks Taylor born in Tennesse in 1884 with their infant son David born Jan 1908 in Oklahoma. Mattie's brother, Walter also traveled with this Taylor family. Shed's other children were: Eddie - June 3, 1881, Robert - Mar 21, 1886, Susie - Nov 7, 1888, Jim - Feb 11, 1890, Will - March 9, 1892, Agnes - Feb 10, 1895, Nellie - Sep 20, 1896, Isom - March 6, 1898, Ella - April 8, 1900, Jesse - Sept 6, 1901, Fannie - Sept 9, 1903, Sammie - Dec 15, 1906. This family didn't stay long in Canda and returned probably in March or possibly April back to the USA because they show up on the 1910 census for Grady County Chickasaw. I'm looking for documention on the actural border crossing both ways. Judge & Mattie and baby David stayed in Canada as well as Walter Burks. Help I'm really unsure as to where to begin. Thanks again for all your past infomation you guys are amazing. Terry Taylor-Thomas.
