David Prince was my grandfather he was born abt 1878 in Darlington, Sc. David was raised by his grandparents David and Margaret Pool(e) along with other grandchildren whose last names were Alford and Ezekiel. David was married to his first wife Sallie (who apparently died in sometime in the late 1918's. He had several children that were born to Sallie that were adopted by Boston and Emma Joseph from Darlington abt the 1918 or 1919. (Charley, Louie,Alice , Alfred, Moses, David, Harris and Ralph.) David then married Lula Smith and had several children from this union Lillian, Edith, David and Julius and another son adopted Robert Prince. I am searching for any family that is familiar with these names from the Darlington area that could tell me about who my grandfather's parents were.
