I am trying to find the burial site for my gg-grandfather, John Mosely Behn, who died in April 1901 in Hempstead (Waller County) Texas (married to Nancy Bramlett Behn). Does anyone know whether or not it was required by law at that time that a death certificate be filed? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
