I'm not sure of the relationship between Louise Hughes and Jack Scurry since their parents are not from the same states. It's interesting that they own a farm together though.

I couldn't find Jack or Lila in 1930.

In 1910 Emily Peacock is also listed as a Head of household in the home owned by Jack Scurry which he is also listed has Head of Household

In 1900 Emily Peacock is living with her husband (forgot his name)close to the Scurry's. So she may have been a family friend that moved in with them when she became a widow.
