Re: Continue of Sarah and Laura/Willis KING

Tony,
My census was very poorly written and I thought it was a 6. All these precincts and county are they all under Smith Co. TX. I couldn't tell that it says Holt in 1900 for Laura, I just had Precinct 8 at the top of the census page. I thought that the match for Willis was very strong, but was very confused on rather I had two females Sarah and Laura.
Laura was living with her brother which was my ggranddad. Rubin was a minister and maybe it was a reason for them to have her listed as a widowed. "JUST GASPING AT STRAWS", but maybe it was better to list her as a widow than to say she was divorced since he was a minister. I know from knowledge that back in the day they didn't believe in divorces.
Anyway, I do appreciated you sharing this with me and doing some searching and ideas about all of this. It means a lot to me that you took the time and help me. I have to fill out another piece of the family tree with this information. Thank You. Juanita
