Well after reading the thread over again, I doesn't look like Rose Rose, 17 from St. Johns is yours.
I also located Cape Verde and I was way off base.
I have searched and searched the Ellis Island Records just in case she was already married to Manuel Rose when she arrived, but I cannot find either a Rose Rose or Manuel Rose as spelled or using alternate spellings. I also searched for Manuel FAYAL but no exact matches or alternate spellings found.
