I need help to locate information regarding my father William Franklin Hartley

. Who are his parents?
. Does he have sisters or brothers?
. Does he have aunts or uncles?
My father was born in NC about the 23 of Jan 1922 but I have no information on his parents or on any knowledge of sisters or brothers. I find lots of William Hartley's at Ancestry.com but none I am able to identify as my dad.

. I may have two brothers known to me only as "Billy" and "Butch" born to a woman named Verma in Albany Georgia about 1956.1960. I found this information while going through some family papers. I would like to get to know them if they do exist. What are some ways to approach that possibility. I do not want to cause any harm or create a stir.

. I do have his military enlistment record.(Ancestry.com)
. I do have his internet based death index (Social Security)

He is buried in a military cemetery in New York. His last address was Hempstead NY. I have sent for his death certificate.
. Is obtaining an obit a possibility?
