I believe I found Jesse in 1920 as Jesse Anderson in Allen Parish, La.

Ok...some thoughts.....I could not find William and Laura together no where in the census. In 1930, Laura states that she first got married at age 14 so that would mean she got married around 1910. I searched 1910 for Laura Wheeler and a Laura Anderson and got no positive results. I also searched for a Laura Hopper or Laura Happer and no positive results. In order to find Laura and or William Wheeler in 1910, you would need to know the name of William's other wife and you would need to know who Laura's parents were.

It appears the Jesse was born in 1917 in La. So, Laura was with Willie around that time. If she was not with Willie Wheeler in 1910 then you may never find them together in the census. Do you have a marriage record for them?
