The surname Fitch in your posting caught my attention. My research begins with my Fitch ancestors. They were enslaved in Georgia. Movement placed family in Mississippi for a while. From there to Tennessee. Later relocations of some family members place them in Ohio, New Jersey, New York, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and California while some did remain around the Madison, Morgan County, Georgia area. Can share names if there may be a connection.
