I am so happy for you. I did visit the Court House and the
Library on my visit to Halifax. I have called the Library
with questions often. There is a book - The North Carolina
Gazetteer (A dictionary of Tar Heel Places) By: William
S. Powell - The University of North Carolina Press Chapel Hill.
This book is a geographical dictionary. When you find an area you
still don't understand the location the library staff will help.
