I think I've posted everything I have on the Bunderant family thus far but let's keep in touch via Afrigeneas. As I indicated, my ancestors on my father's side were from Fayette originally. Unfortunately, that is not a county that I research. However, I believe there is a new book coming out TO BE BLACK IN FAYETTE which will be published by the Fayette Historical Society. I didn't have a lot of luck with my paid genealogist from that area. I believe I'll have to do it myself. Also see my June blog entry re: Fayette - http://aagenwv.blogspot.com. -- Or, a fabulous way to research for WV is by sending a query and $15.00 to the WV Division of Culture and History in Charleston. They are quick and always give you much more than you would have expected. I'd ask one very good question - for instance "any information about XXX" and tell them what you already have on that person. I'd pick a key individual (one from whom you can them extrapolate backwards and forwards).
