1910 Entire Family: Sonnie NORRIS in SC/TX?
I'm so excited I can hardly contain myself. A wonderful person just sent me an email earlier today with an abstract from the newly updated 1910 Census on Ancestry! Who knew that it now allows you to see the entire family, not just the HH and it also includes birth/death and burial information.
Could one of the Afrigeneas' Angels please bless me and gift me with any application information for my Great Great Grandfather, Sonnie NORRIS, born 1859 in South Carolina but, seen in 1880 Census for Marshall, Texas? Sonnie married Sallie Robinson on March 13, 1884 in Harrison County, Marshall, TX. I know a bit about Sonnie and wife as well as most of his sibblings but, I'm dieing for more info on Sonnie's father, whom I do not have a given name for, only a nick name "Buck" NORRIS of SC.
Sonnie's mother was Eliza NORRIS, born January 1838 in SC also but, I have no idea about where in SC or more about the father and other possibles. Also, have no idea of when Buck NORRIS died, possibly between 1870 and 1880. I've seen Eliza in the 1900 census at age 62 with daughter Mary Hall but, have no idea of when and where she died. Most likely in Marshall, Texas. If I could ascertain who the parents of either Eliza or Buck was, I'd most assuredly take flight!
Thankful and most appreciative of anyone in the gift giving mood this evening (smile). This would be wonderful to include in book for upcoming NORRIS Family Reunion. Thank You
