As suggested, the 1870 Census does NOT state the relationship, to the HOH, so the relationship to HOH & the family is open to speculation.

For 1870 Ancestry lists 16 McGeeHee's in Springfield, Greene, AL, the race runs the gamut from colored to white to mulatto and Harriett, the oldest was born 1812 in SC as was the white Zack McGeeHee in 1815.

A deeper inspection into the McGeeHee surname will probably provide the answer to some of your questions.
