Hello Lisa, thank you so much for the information you provided. Your 'quick search' has garnered much more info that we already had. I now know that I have mistakenly added 3 more siblings to Algernon, than should be. I have a copy of the 1920 census, yet was unaware of his military service. There are many other bits of info that you have given that are extremely helpful. The most disconcerting fact is that you have informed me that Algernon and the others were still alive as of 1962. My father always said that as a child he remembered meeting a lot of cousins, in a different part of Florida other than where he grew up. Now, I'll always wonder why we never met them. And, as far as I know, there is no one left to ask. Sad.
