Hope you've found the records you are looking for - but to answer your question about why non mormons are contained in theses records - it is part of the LDS religion to baptise ones ancestors into the church. My grandfather who was an Old or Primitive Baptist his entire life was posthumously made LDS by one of his other descendants. It really bothers some people - I'm just glad for the wealth of information they've shared with me. good hunting.
