Hi. I'm not really sure. From what I understand, many, if not most Lacy's have roots in Virginia and from there spread out all over. One website I consulted says there are Virginia Lacy descendants in all of the 48 contiguous states. Do you know if any of your family hails from the Atlantic coast? I'm pretty sure my great-great grandfather was of Gullah/Geechee descent. The slave trade probably brought him to the Louisiana/Arkansas region. Let me know if any of that fits your family's story.
