I was looking up some stuff and noticed a Peter BROWN in Reddick, Marion County, Florida in 1910 (I noticed from the post that Peter and Mattie weren't listed in 1910 with the elder Peter and wife). He is about the right age and lists parents born in SC. I noticed that in one enumeration, the elder Peter's place of birth was given as SC and in 1880, if memory serves me, Peter's parents place of birth was given as SC. Perhaps this is worth checking? T624_165 page 96 ED 100.

This same Peter is found in Reddick, Marion County, Florida in 1920 (although he'd aged a little more than 10 years--smile).
