I responded to your post because the address on your birth certificate is a Harlem address. Yes that section of Harlem is Central Harlem. Metropolitan Hospital is located in the Upper East Side of Manhattan. However the Hospital is not far from that address about 2.5 miles.

The suggestions from the previous post are excellent. I would try those suggestions first. My suggestion to visit the area if possible was only after trying the suggestions of the previous post and only if you resided in the surrounding area in or near NYC.
