I'm looking for John Milton Ayers' parents. The names I have for his parents are Ervin "Stepney" Ayers and Martha "Mattie" Jones. I can't guarantee that those names are accurate.

John Ayers (age 26)is in 1910 census, 1 J-Pct, Falls Co., TX. John is born in TX. Dad-Louisiana. Mom-Texas.
His mother, Martha, is 48 and widowed. She had 8 children, 4 still living. Martha is born in TX. Dad-Texas. Mom-Tennessee.

John Ayers (age 16)is in 1900 census, 2 J-Pct, Falls Co., TX. John is born in TX. Dad-Louisiana. Mom-Texas.
John is a day laborer at Jesse Brothers' house (white).
I couldn't find any other Ayers in this census.

I feel like I've tried everything. I've searched the whole U.S., every census, variations of name spellings . . .no luck.

Ervin "Stepney" is supposed to be first cousins with Early Ayers. I have Early in 1910 (Falls), 1900 (Falls), and 1880 (Burleson). Early's dad is George (born in Louisiana) 27 in 1880, mom is Malinda 22 in 1880. George's mom and dad are from Kentucky. So, I guess George is brothers with Ervin's dad.

I would really appreciate any help. I have a Ayers reunion on Saturday. I'm trying to get info. together to verify with them. All of the info. I have from living relatives, I've included in this email.
