MRS. MOREHAND, 54, DIES IN HOSPITAL
Auburn- Mrs. Pauline Morehand, wife of Albert R. Morehand, 48 Fitch Ave., died yesterday

afternoon, in Mercy Hospital.
She was a life resident of Auburn and member of Thompson Memorial Community Church. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Miss Catherine Moreland of Auburn; two sons, Carlton K. of New York City and Donald D Moreland of Auburn; her mother, Margaret F. Diggs of Auburn; two sisters Mrs. Laurence Williams and Mrs. Falstaff Harris, both of Syracuse, and one grandchild.

Auburn - Service for Mrs. Pauline Diggs Morehand, 54, of 48 Fitch Ave., wife of Albert R. Morehand, who died saturday in Mercy Hospital, were held at 2pm today in Brews Funeral Chapel.

The Rev. C. L. Vanpullen, Thompson Memorial Community Church, officiated. Burial was in Fort Hill Cemetery.

WOMAN ATTACKED IN HALL OF HOME

A 26 year-old woman reported to police she was grabbed early this morning by an assailant who after grappling with her inflicted a cut on her right temple.
Gertrude E. Morehand, the victim, who lives at 322 Madison St., said she was attacked shortly before 2am, as she entered the unlocked lower hall of her residence. Patrolman John Holihan, who was called to the scene, took the young woman to Crouse-Irving Hospital for treatment.
