I know that this is a African-American site but I want to help my sister find her father. Maybe someone who frequents these boards can. I don't have much to go on, so here goes:

My sister's father's name is either ROBERTO MALDONADO, ROBERTO HECTOR MALDONADO, or HECTOR MALDONADO.The spelling of the last name could also be MALDONANDO. He supposedly was a Chicago police officer in the late 60's early 70's. He could still be one today. He is of Puerto Rican or Dominican descent.

My sister was born Jan.4, 1968.

I know it is not much but that is all our mother will give. If any of this sounds remotely familiar, please respond.
