Regina, Once again I must say Thank You, Thank You. I have discovered that the saying 'two heads are better than one' is truer than I ever imagined. I have looked numerous times at the 1880 census on LDS, and my focus has always been the mother in-law, Mary Ann Broxie. I believe my grandmother, Mary Ann Brown,the daughter of Peter and Clanicy, was named after her. It never, ever entered my mind that 'Brane' could possibly be Ben. I realize now, that I zoom-in and focus on part of the picture, instead of looking at the whole picture. Since your post,and because of your post, I have discovered Ben, Adline, Lillia, AND Lillia's husband (?) Thomas Martin on the 1920 census, still in Jacksonville. Hooray!
