I think I have it figured out. Okay, in 1870 there is a Robert Brown and wife Clarissa on the next page after Perter and his wife Clarissa. Robert is 75 born SC and Clarissa is 60 born SC. This age is consistent with the Claricy E in 1880 (Mother of Peter). Note that Peter named one of his sons Robert. There is no one else in the household with them.
