Robert Burnett of the 1870 census gave testimony in the Civil War pension case of Anderson Mitchell aka Anderson Smith. Anderson served with the Company G, 58th, USCI. Robert served with Company C of the 58th.
Robert may have applied for a pension, if he did, there may be plenty of interesting information on the pages of his application.
