God bless you! Thank you so much, yes my family is listed toward the bottom of the list you published. I already had found some of this info on census records through Ancestry.com. But the death records I had not seen. My father is the Calvin that is 5 years old in 1930 census. I never knew my greatgrandmother's name, but I did know I was named after the Ruthie - my father's mother - on the 1920 census. I knew she died young and left him and his sister as orphans, but I didn't know he lived with his grandmother for some years before she died. Never knew who his father was. I knew he had a sister named Caroline (in census records listed as Nancy C.) After his mother died he and his sister supposedly wandered the streets of Charlotte begging and dancing for food, until the John C. on the census, known to me as Uncle Clarence found them! To see the names of unknown aunts and uncles in print is so emotional to me. My father rarely talked about his childhood, it was not happy and he is gone now. I have no living relatives on that side and have not had any since the 60s. I would love to make contact with any Walkers originating out of Charlotte, particularly the Sharon and Crab Orchard townships.
