Re: MADURO, Caroline Amalie, born abt. 1855, USVI

There are also records relating to St. Croix, St. John and St. Thomas while they were under Danish control at NARA II in College Park, MD. I ran across them a couple of years ago when I just visited the College Park site to just see what they had out at that location. Not sure if any of this is a duplication of what is available. Example:

Christiansted Commission for the Registering of the Free Colored
Register of Free Colored Men 1831-1832 (1 volume)
Register of Free Colored Women 1831-1832
Register of Free Colored Children 1831-1832

Frederiksted Commision for Registering of the Free Colored
Register of Free Colored Men 1831-1832
Register of Free Colored Women 1831-1832
Register of Free Colored Children 1831-1832

St. Thomas Commision for Registering of the Free Colored
Proceeding and Register of the Free Colored 1803
Register of Free Colored Men 1831-1832
Register of Free Colored Women 1831-1832
REgister of Free Colored Children 1831-1832

St. John Commission for the Registering of Free Colored 1831
Register of Free Colored, Men, Women and Children 1831-1832

Records fo the Judiciary and Police Dept.
Records of the Office of the Sheriff of St. John
List of Slave Owners and Former Slaves 1853-1854 1/2 inch 1 volume
Protocol Til Barnefodsler, Record of Births 1906-1919 1/2 inch 1 volume.
