I immediate looked for my "Ancestor Name Brickwall."

In the 1880 Census, I found a ST.CIR CLARK. I keep wondering why they named him Saint.

I never found him listed that way again. I found a Cyrus but not a St. or a SAINT.

For some reason I want to believe that he was given that name for a reason -- all the rest had names like Benjamin, Thomas, Matilda etc.

They lived in Rappahannock VA and I believe they were always Baptist.
