you are sweet, and truly have found a new friend,you have realy helped me a lot. I just feel like I a bother, with your relative being sick and all, I know how it is, I 've had 3or 4 heart attacks myself, in 2004. I am a person, that once I start something I hate to stop until it is finished. and this is one project that has worked me, along with my other tasks and daily duties. But I am fine now, I am back to work. My heart was so bad they had to put in a pacemaker.

Now the information that I have on the Chalk/ Washington family is, from what I remember from childhood, and what family members has told me :Ethel Chalk- Washington, was I bellieve the second oldest child of James Chalk (The son of Ed and Henrietta Pettus-Chalk, I think that James may also be the same person as Elbert Chalk or Theodra. I don't know for sure. Never heard thes two persons ever mention. Uncle Buddy, (James as the family knew him )Maybe this will help you, He passed the very same day as President Kennedy.) I have only know that that He and his family has always lived in Osceola, Arkansas, that is where we would go to visit them. They surrounded by cotton fields, I think that the last time I seen them, I was about 15 years old, so that would of been about 1952.

Ethel wasn't married then she was only a few years older than I. believe she was born about 1933, because I born in 37. Her Husband: Willie (William {William, maybe}James Washington, I don't know where he was born. Could be Osceola, Arkansas also. I know that their 10 children was all born there :

Oh! I found some information on them. here it is : Ethe Chalk- Washington, Born 12/5/1933, Osceola, Arkansas, Passed ??, Osceola, Arkansas. Willie James Wasington, Born 5/19/ ? Passed, 2/5/1978, Osceola, Arkansas. Yes, she was married the last time that I saw her. Children: Raymond Washington, Marqurite Jean, Matthew Lee, Erma Jean, Guy Washington, Dorothy Faye, Twins, Donald and Ronald, Willie James, Jr., Mary Jane, All was born in Oscealo, Arkansas, All living except for Mary.
