This is my first posting to this newly discovered group. I am hoping that through this community I can gain knowledge and clues to a quest that I inherited over thirty-five years ago.

I realize, from reading the various threads on the forum, that I should examine county and state documents. I am hoping that someone here has some information of the north western region of Tennessee to help me find the lineage of Samuel Pillow (a farmer in Obion county), born 1812.
