Glad to know the info provided in the Tread.

I also use just the Search of the State/county feature with the First name then the Last name of FREE and/or MEGRO.

I tried it again the other day because I know that Ancestry is refining all their data bases from time to time and I might just get lucky.

Because I now know more about the names of the ancestors that are still being used in Maryland for example, from time to time I check back in the FREE and NEGRO names to see if one strikes a bell.
