I don't think so. Ralph Donnell would have been about the age of Turner's father, Andrew Donnell. There are a whole lot of Donnell's in Greensboro. In 1860, there were over 7 Donnell slave owners, the largest being James M. Donnell who owned about 30 slaves. If my memory serves me right I think I ran across a slave by the name of Ralph in the estate record of Emsley Donnell in 1863. It is possible that Andy and Ralph were perhaps related.
