Ok, they wouldn't know you are your family, but think about this. Wouldn't you be curious after reading information about a family tree and perhaps share it with a family member and or maybe a family friend to see if someone knows anything. The idea is to make people curious enough to respond. What you think they may not have any information about your line, may not be true. They may not have talked about it in a long while.
