I don't know where else to look to try and find Mollie's maiden name or where she came from - I am hitting a wall here. Does the census say where she lived at the time? I know she ended up in Eastern Tennesee.

Chances are Mollie was not a slave. If she were, then she would have gotten married when she was in her early forties. But then again she never had anymore children so I guess its possible. But I doubt it.

If she had been born in 1864, then she would have been 24 when she had ALBERT. That doesn't set well with me either. So I am thinking her mother was a slave and Molle was born after 1865. I just can't think of a way to find her mother. A lot could be answered if Mollie's maiden name was WISDOM. That would lead, possibly, to White County Tennessee.
