It's a bit early to be talking of dead ends...we have even looked for a year or two yet!

Earliest we have is Albert born 1888.

There is no 1890 census, so we need to know his mother's approximate age to see if we can find her in 1880 and 1900.....then we need to locate them in 1870....then we can dig heavier into the likely slave owner....one step at a time.

So what was Molly's approx age? Who was her husband....if she married? Did they stay in TN?
