All of the information I found for you I got at ancestry.com. It is a paid service, and if you cannot afford a subscription, you can check to see if a library near you has one. Ancestry has many different levels of subscription - I happen to have the basic one. I prefer to research from home and don't drive in the evenings. I find that for me, the cost is less important than the convienience.

Ancestry has downloadable census page images.

You can also begin to investigate Wake county - free, by going to their GenWeb site, to see what records (birth, marriage etc.) are available, and where to send for them.
