I haven't requested birth records from WV ... I thought they were all born in VA until ... just now. ... I just noticed that the youngest was born in WVA ...

But, it appears that I would need to be a child/grandchild/great-grandchild of the person to obtain the birth record ... also ... the request forms require the mother's maiden name (that's what I'm trying to obtain).

Is there another method for obtaining her maiden name?
