Thanks for the list of birth of Elams in Mecklenburg Va. The parents that I am looking for is Cumby & Maria Elam and I did see them listed.
They were in Mecklenburg County in the 1880 census, so I assume that is where they were when all of their children were born. Maybe they were in Charlotte County Va. which is close by. I will keep looking.
