Figuring out who's a sibling--Ms

I've been trying figure out who could be a brother or sister of my grgrgrandfather Daniel Adams of Monroe MS. Al. So maybe someone can look at the census and give me and idea of what you think. I'm hoping maybe one of you will throw your suggestions in. Here we go--
In 1870 spelled Dam should be Daniel and Mary Adams are listed in Monroe Ms. In the census it says both of their parents were born in Virginia. Daniel is listed as born in Ala and 3 of his son, Albert bn 1853, Andy bn 1857, Westley bn 1859. Now when I caluculated age given for Mary Francis Adams she would have been 12 at the time of marriage according to dates of age on the census, which is probably wrong. I've looked at the ADAMS men in the community to compare who's parents are listed as born in Va, who as HOH were born in Ala and tried to figure out who could be a sybling or parent of Daniel Adams. I did find 1 sister Ellen Cox living next door married to Andy Cox. In their household is listed Adams nephews. Can you help me figure out who is a sybling and/or or parent. AND maybe give me information on where I should look to explain possible migratory patterns from Virginia to Ms. One more thing, I haven't done any research in Alabama because names started showing for my Adams in 1870 MS.
