Re: WALKER Family
In Response To: Re: WALKER Family ()
Now you're getting into my territory when you talk about the PINCKNEY'S. They are my ancestor's out of Edgefield SC. I have been collecting death certificates for harriet and Henry Pinckney's family. Walker comes in when FRANCIS Vance married Paul Walker abt 1872. They lived in Johnston SC. I found Francis Walker a widow in 1930 Johnston SC. There was a neice named Pearle age 19, who I am assuming had the same last name as WALKER living in the household with Paul and Francis Walker in 1880. Also Francis Vance Walker's sister, Rebecca Vance was living with Paul and Francis in 1880 Johnston Sc. Paul is est. bn 1855, Francis bn 1854, Pearle bn abt 1861, Beckie Vance bn 1865 all of SC. I haven't been able to obtain death certificates for any of the names mentioned because it is costly not to know more before ordering. As of today I have info for the Pinckney children of Harriet and Henry. I am waiting on death certificates to see if the informants were siblings or relatives on any of the death certificates for this family after 1930 were females and perhaps find married names. Perhaps one of them could have been a WALKER. So far on death certificates I found that men are the informants accept in the case of widows. I am hoping there is some kind of connection. I am looking for cousins.
