Hi Regina - I feel for you on TN frustrations. Perhaps they are cousins - and not brothers and sisters. If so - you may not find them in the same family. However, since the surname seems to be mangled beyond belief in the census periods you have found them - perhaps they are just as mangled in 1870 and 1880. Using my LDS disks - I did a search using only first initials - and also did a search for families with sons named George and Joseph in 1870. What kept popping up were families surnamed Glass in 1870 in Weakley county who aren't there in 1880 and this strange listing in 1880 (the Georgie could be a male): Census Place: 1st Ward, Nashville, Davidson, Tennessee Source: FHL Film 1255249 National Archives Film T9-1249 Page 9B Relation Sex Marr Race Age Birthplace

Fa: TN Mo: TN Is one of those long stretches...but, I'd take a closer look at the Glass surname - in both sets of records - it isn't a far stretch from Glass to Glason. Denise
