Re: "Hasy" - Nickname
In Response To: Re: "Hasy" - Nickname ()
Hi Denise, Hasy is her first name. I am unable to locate Hasy, Joseph or George in 1870. Marriage records show that Hasy Glason married John Nance 9/17/1880 in Crockett Co., TN. George Glason married Alice Coleman 3/17/1889 in Crockett Co., TN. Ella Glayson married Sidney Robertson on 12/128/1890. I can not loacte Hasy, George, Ella or Joseph in 1870 or 1880. They are all found in 1990. All were born in Tennessee. Here's my 1900 findings: George & Alice Glason are found in Greenfield, Monroe Co, AR
Reasons why I believe there are siblings: **In 1910 Hasy (indexed Hasty Watson) is a widow and her nephew's Ollie and Andy Glayson are living with her (These are George & Alice's sons)
Ella Glayson Robertson is my great great grandmother. It is unknown as to who her parents were or her siblings. George was born about 1869, Ella about 1875, Joseph about 1873 and Hasy about 1864. I should be able to find George & Ella in 1870 and should be able to find all four in 1880, but I can't. MY SPECULATIONS: I belive that Hasy, George, Ella and Joseph are siblings, I just can't prove it. Now, I thinking that maybe Hasy could be a nickname also for "Halstine" (which is my grandmother's name) My searches continues......... Regina
