I know for a fact that Bobby Bland had a sister name Julia that lives in Las Vegas, Nv. we went to church together. I'm not sure of her last name now because her husband passed, don't know if she remarried. The last time I saw both of them was at a concert and he kept mentioning growing up together. Hope this will help a little knowing he had the sister.
