Wow! Great work and thanks to all. I would like to have the father's name but may have to contact Bobby "Blue" Bland for that information. While in Portland, Or at a jazz festival in 2001, he was performing but his bodyguards would not let me speak with him. However, a man at the event said that he knew him well because Bobby grew up in Portland. Apparently, there was a mass migration of African Americans to Portland back then to work at the Kaiser??? plant. Again, thank you.
